Senior Business Development Representative

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Representative who possesses both exemplary sales skills and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives, cultivating relationships with clients, and leading a team of business development representatives. This role requires a proven track record of successful sales performance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities for growth.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and potential areas for expansion.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Continuously strive to improve sales processes, techniques, and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
