Central Kitchen Driver

**The Central Kitchen Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of food products, supplies, and other items between the central kitchen and various delivery points including retail outlets, suppliers, and storage locations. This role ensures that deliveries are handled in accordance with hygiene and safety standards, supporting the smooth operations of the food production team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Load, transport, and deliver food and kitchen supplies to designated locations.
- Ensure products are delivered in proper condition and within scheduled timeframes.
- Perform routine checks on vehicle condition and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols when handling food items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and receipts.
- Assist with loading/unloading of goods at the central kitchen and delivery points.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate with kitchen and logistics staff regarding delivery schedules or changes.
**Job Requirements**:
- Possess a valid Class 3 (or relevant) driving license.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a similar capacity, preferably in food delivery.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry loads as required.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays as needed.
- Good time management and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiar with local road routes and GPS navigation systems.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English preferred, as it facilitates communication with both local staff and Chinese clientele.
