**Roles & Responsibilities**
**ESG Reporting**
- Well versed with the latest and future developments on Reporting/ Familiar with the development around formation of International Sustainability Standards Board, compliance with SASB, emerging reporting requirements in various jurisdictions, keeping AIA a step ahead
- Accountable for the Group’s sustainability report, including data collection, data assessment, materiality review, writing, editing, design and layout.
- Supporting the development of ESG reports for markets through guidance
- Communicate AIA’s commitments to achieving the Group’s Purpose via the ESG Report, while also improving AIA’s reputation among all stakeholders
**ESG Ratings Methodologies**:
- Addressing ESG indicators and ensuring AIA has top scores on ratings, rankings and indices that are used by investors (e.g., FTSE4Good, CDP, Bloomberg GEI, DJSI, MSCI, ISS, Vigeo Eiris, Sustainalytics, RepRisk, etc.)
- Address stakeholder disclosure requirements, in addition to other reporting obligations and standards, including Hong Kong Exchange ESG Guide, GRI Standard Guidelines, Sustainable Development Goals, SASB, and AIA’s Annual UN Global Compact submission, UNPRI, UNPSI and TCFD.
**Materiality Assessment**:
- Conducting and analysing the results of the biennial stakeholder sustainability survey. Articulating results internally to support informed decision-making
**Data and Analytics**
- Responsible for building tools and systems/governance for robust Disclosure, verification and assurance
- Coordinate data collection, and carbon footprint the Group’s emission and energy footprint on an annual basis to the satisfaction of the Group’s externally appointed auditor.
- Look at how analytics can be used to power ESG reporting
**Benchmarking & Advisory**:
- Enabling strategic decision-making by senior management on ESG topics including laws and regulations, investor expectations, industry standards, disclosure frameworks, target setting, market trends, products and services, etc.
- Embed responsibility for ESG data collection, management, and increase overall awareness of ESG topics across department functions
**ESG KPIs governance**
Build Governance and Data architecture to track and measure ESG KPIs
**Skills**
- ESG ratings, rankings and indices
- Engagement with institutional investors and analysts on ESG topics
- Sustainability software and data architecture
- Energy and resources management; greenhouse gas inventory and accounting
- Sustainability reporting standards (GRI Standards, SASB Standards, TCFD, SGX)
- ata-driven decision-making; benchmarking trends; target setting
- Organisational change management; securing buy-in from senior stakeholders
- Sustainability governance; ESG frameworks, policies and guidelines
- Multistakeholder collaboration, dialogue, engagement and partnership
**Minimum Job Requirements**:
- High degree of proficiency in Reporting and deep experience (at least 10 years)
- Consistent demonstration of high-quality work
- High work ethic and very resilient under pressure
- Timeliness when meeting deadlines.
- Organisational ability in project management and execution
- A minimum of ten years working experience, with a minimum of two years in the financial services
- Strong data analytics skills, with experience in carbon and energy foot printing in line with both local and international accounting standards
- In-depth familiarity with ESG Reporting manuals, guidelines and regulation, including those set by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Global Reporting Initiative, among others
- Experience in conducting ESG materiality assessments, including preparing and writing ESG Reports
- Ability to understand and disseminate information related to ESG aspects of the business, including policies and practices, in a short time frame
- Strong understanding of global sustainability issues, and sustainable finance principles and practices
- Strong written and spoken skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, with ability to develop and maintain relationships across the business and at local and international level
- Ability to engage senior leaders on ESG, including informing on industry practices and seeking consensus on stakeholder feedback
- Multi-tasker, with proven project management experience
- Required, Master's Degree in Sustainable Development, Sustainable Finance or a related field
