This position is located in the Engineering and Operations Section (EOS), Technology Directorate (TD) of the Executive Office (EXO), Antitrust Division (Division), Department of Justice (Department or DOJ). Within EXO, EOS is responsible for enterprise-wide network operations and system administration; technology asset management; telecommunications management; and Information Technology (IT) services and help desk operations. The Antitrust Division (Division) is seeking to fill a Information Technology Specialist (APPSW) position in the Engineering and Operations Section (EOS). As a Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to: - Applies new and emerging IT developments and technologies to develop proposals and strategies leading to successful resolution of problems and issues. - Provide leadership and expertise in enhancing and improving agency IT systems. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - You must be a United States Citizen or National. - You must undergo a pre-employment security investigation. - You may be required to take and successfully clear a drug test. - You must meet basic requirements, all time-in-grade and qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. - DIRECT DEPOSIT: All Federal employees are required to have Federal salary payments made by direct deposit to a financial institution of their choosing. - This position is ineligible for inclusion in a bargaining unit. - The Antitrust Division participates in the E-Verify program. - Financial Disclosure: If selected, you may be required to disclose financial information in accordance with DOJ and Federal ethics guidelines. **Qualifications**: **To qualify for the position of **Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), you must meet the Basic Qualification Requirements AND possess the required Specialized Experience specific to the series and grade listed below.
