As an Information Technology Security Specialist (Network/System), you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our network and system infrastructure from cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and maintain security measures for network and system infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption technologies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for signs of suspicious activity or security breaches, and respond promptly to security incidents.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees on best practices for information security and data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to design and implement secure network and system architectures.
- Participate in incident response and forensic investigations to identify the root cause of security incidents and prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and security technologies, and recommend security enhancements and upgrades as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in information technology security, with a focus on network and system security.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and forensic analysis tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are preferred.
- Experience with cloud security technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, is a plus.
