Singapore MIDEA ELECTRIC TRADING (SINGAPORE) CO. PTE. LTD. Full time

The APAC Head of Finance will manage the finance operations across the APAC region and strategically partner with business teams to drive strategy, growth, and profitability for Midea's APAC entity, while building the brand throughout the region.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Regional President to achieve business targets and implement HQ strategies.
- Setting up KPIs for countries.
- Analyzing Business Unit (BU) financial targets and managing the annual budgeting process.
- Tracking BU’s P&L results and operational performance, providing guidance to business teams for monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI achievement.
- Analyzing operational performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Improving financial structures and preparing analyses of full cost, sales targets, pricing, sales orders, and P&L management.
- Reviewing sales performance by product family and sales channel, and conducting gross margin analysis.
- Performing competitor performance and market share analysis as needed.
- Analyzing marketing investments and expenses.
- Conducting variance analysis on financial and operational metrics such as P&L, DIO, inventory turnover, A/R, commissions, and rebates.
- Comparing income statement plan accuracy against actual monthly results.
- Overseeing post-acquisition integration.
- Collaborating with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals.
- Providing leadership to the finance team and driving overall team development.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in an accounting manager or similar leadership position.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the group or portfolio companies.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, economics, or accounting; a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (to communicate with Chinese counterparts).
