Head of Accounting

**Job Scope and Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulate financial strategies for the ASAO region within the scope of the Group Guidelines, manage funds smoothly, and respond to capital needs in an appropriate manner.
- Contribute to further enhancing the corporate value of the YKK Group.
- Plan and implement measures for the management of the regional headquarters and its group.
- Work with the Head office and operating companies to solve problems and issues related to accounting systems that occur on a daily basis at operating companies in the ASAO region.
- Monitor day-to-day operations using the accounting system at operating companies in the ASAO region are being carried out appropriately and solve problems and issues in cooperation with the head office and operating companies.
- Strengthen the management base of the YHA with a focus on finance, accounting, and taxation in the ASAO Region
- Accounting Rule Operation: Monitor whether operating companies in the ASAO region comply with YKK GAAP, ASAO Guidelines, and YKK Group regulations, conduct operations in the areas of accounting, finance, and taxation, and work with the head office and operating companies to resolve problems and issues.
- Compile tax audits, tax litigation support, financial strategy planning, cash flow improvement support, investment-related project support, management of YHA Finance & Accounting Department
- Solve problems and issues related to cost accounting systems that may arise at operating companies in the ASAO region in cooperation with the head office and operating companies.
- In cooperation with the Internal Audit Office, investigate and monitor accounting-related fraud at operating companies in the ASAO region.
- Host Annual Regional Accounting meeting that would involve finance and accounting personnel from operating companies in the ASAO region.
- Work with operating companies in the region to develop potential financial and accounting personnel to ensure smooth transition of finance and accounting processes
- Provide support for the improvement of the business plan formulation process and granularity of operating companies in the ASEAN/ISAMEA region, as well as the methods and granularity of income and expenditure analysis methods and granularity by comparing them with the previous year and plans, in accordance with the policy and direction of the business summary
- Provide timely reports that will enable business managers and operating companies in the ASEAN/ISAMEA region to appropriately judge their performance and take the following actions
- Prepare and provide performance management-related reports for various conferences organized by the ASEAN/ISAMEA Regional Business Supervisor in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
- Experience in managing related organizations at the head office, operating companies, regional headquarters, and business management in the accounting and finance fields
- Thorough knowledge in accounting systems (SAP, STRAVIS), cost accounting system systems (FG-COMPASS), core systems (WINGS), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Experience in negotiating with audit firms, consultants, national tax authorities, and contractors in the Accounting and Finance fields
- Good spoken and written English
- Meticulous, organized and detailed oriented
- Possess expertise knowledge of the fastening industry is advantageous
- Prior experience in Accounting and Finance experience in manufacturing industry is advantageous
- Possess experience in project management preferred
- Minimum 10 years of Experience in overseas posting and/or project management preferred
