**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our IFRS17 actuarial reporting team. The IFRS17 Acturial Lead will be responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of IFRS17 financial reporting, supporting the CFO with actionable insights, and driving enhancements to improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the IFRS17 actuarial reporting framework.
- Oversee the preparation, validation, and analysis of IFRS17 financial results.
- Provide strategic support to the CFO by interpreting results and offering insights to inform decision-making.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of actuarial professionals focused on IFRS17 reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and automation of reporting workflows.
- Act as a key liaison between actuarial, finance, risk, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on IFRS17 developments and provide guidance on their implications for the business.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, FSA, or equivalent).
- Strong actuarial background with demonstrable experience in financial reporting, ideally under IFRS17.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in implementing or managing IFRS17 frameworks, either in-house or via a consulting role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Experience working in or with consulting firms is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
