We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an **IFRS17 Senior Actuary.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

In this role you will
- Reporting to the Head of Corporate Actuarial. Responsible for managing the team members working on the IFRS17 production in coordination with the other team lead, with a primary focus on ensuring high quality production and explanation of the results
- Support the Head of Corporate Actuarial in working closing with the Finance team to ensure timely production of analytical review of the monthly and quarterly production
- Liaise with the other actuarial teams (including Appointed Actuary, Pricing) on topics such as assumptions settings, new products inclusion in IFRS17 framework
- Provide support ad-hoc to the Chief Actuary on other corporate actuarial topics
- Works closely with the regional office, external actuarial consultants, internal & external auditors and regulators, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations
RequirementsTo be successful you will need
- Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body
- Extensive actuarial background with strong experience in IFRS17 reporting
- In depth experience with reporting processes and the reporting control environment
- Experience in Singapore regulatory regime is an advantage
- Strong communication & presentation skills
