What you’ll do

Develop and execute product training plan for existing customers/sales/channel partners for the protein purification and analysis segment.

Respond to regional customer technical enquiries and feedback received from customers and/or sales staff, through the appropriate questioning techniques to identify the nature of the request/complaint

Seek opportunities to convert technical enquiries into new or developed sales possibilities (e.g. design in, lead generation, up
- and cross-selling and initiating quotations)

Who you are

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or equivalent

Min 5 years relevant Technical and Applications related role. Desired Qualifications: Technical and Application specialist for Sciences Research instruments and consumables, mainly the following products: Lab AKTA Systems and resin (protein purification) - Biacore (SPR)
- CCD based imagers

Strong knowledge in Protein Sciences with experience with Chromatography and filtration technologies, experience with Unicorn software. Knowledge on Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technology is an added advantage.

Willingness to travel 50% or more within your specified geographic region (SEA / ASEAN) and periodic long-distance travels for sales meetings, internal conferences, tradeshows, trainings, or other work-related reasons.

Provide troubleshooting on issues that arise related to end-user's technical skills on relevant for downstream technologies
