Singapore KUMON ASIA & OCEANIA PTE LTD Full time

**Job Purpose**:
The main purpose of this position is to facilitate communication of policies and activities of the head office in Japan and the regional headquarter to each country by providing interpretation, translation support and secretarial services for Kumon Asia & Oceania's Management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide translation and interpretation from Japanese to English, and vice versa:

- Translate various documents such as presentations, newsletters, reports, company policies and speeches etc.
- Interpret and facilitate communication between Japanese and non-Japanese speaking stakeholders
- Support Management in secretarial and administrative tasks, such as handling expenditure and travel arrangements, coordinating and monitoring reporting schedules
- Conduct basic research & planning for various projects undertaken by the division

**Knowledge and Skills Requirements**:

- High proficiency in both Japanese (preferably JLPT level 1 or near-native) and English languages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)

**Credentials & Experience**:

- A recognized Degree in any discipline
- At least 2 years' professional experience in interpretation and translation

- Able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage tight deadlines Willing to travel overseas

Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
