RESPONSIBILITIES Translate from Japanese to English and vice versa for meetings, technical reports and emails Have good knowledge of the workflows in the art development environment Perform as an interpreter in art development environment and ensure smooth progression of meetings Maintain consistent quality of work while staying on schedule Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs Provide guidance to junior- to mid‐level translator REQUIREMENTS At least 7–10 years' experience in a related field Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N13 or more years of experience in translation in any industry 2 or more years of experience in verbal interpretation in any industry Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors Excellent knowledge of content editing tools Familiarity with translation software Good time‐management skills Possess leadership qualities Valid certificate of accredited interpreting training is a plus Knowledge of the gaming industry is a plus Proficiency in Japanese language at a native or near‐native level is highly preferred JOIN US NOW E‐mail Title: "Open Application - Your Name"E‐mail title must adhere to this format.
