People turn to you for solutions, and you’re expanding your technical expertise and relationship-management skills to create world-class work.**Responsibilities**: **Your focus as a Group Account Director**: - Deploying your base of client and stakeholder management skills across a larger portfolio of clients and complexity in client organizational structures (e.g. from single to multi-market, from mid-sized companies to MNCs etc.). - Expanding your experience into more client verticals and become a recognized expert in at least 1-2 (e.g. FMCG, B2B etc). - Become trusted brand guardians that will bring the best of Ogilvy capabilities that makes our clients’ brands matter even more by proactively spotting creative and growth opportunities. - Independently lead integrated accounts of up to $2M. - Be able to successfully lead medium/large-sized new business proposals or pitches (up to $2M), and work with Team Leads on larger pitches (>$2M) - Responsible for margin growth/protection along with the PMO - including joint ownership of locally agreed targets. **The skills you learn and apply**: - Proactively spotting creative and growth opportunities that brings fame and fortune to both clients and the agency. - Ability to manage your time, energy, skills and relationships to manage a wider portfolio and more complexity. - Transposing your skills from your past experience to build up expertise in new client verticals and increasing your adaptability. - Develop gravitas as a client and business leader that internal and external stakeholders turn to for solutions. - Deepening your knowledge of modern marketing (e.g. data analytics, CX, martech etc.) and getting as much on-ground experience as possible to become a skilled expert. - Expanding your awareness of industry technical capabilities (e.g. adtech) in order to build your technical expertise as a client advisor - Deepen financial savviness and learn commercial negotiation skills to structure client contracts. - Manage a team of at least 3 direct reports to impart client service skills and groom them in their growth and promotion.
