Delivery Lead

We are currently seeking a Delivery Lead for driving all the product/project delivery activities within the region by working with the Customer Success Managers, Innovation Product Leads and managed services delivery leads.

The Delivery lead will ensure managed services delivery squads and other regional vendor delivery teams adhere to quality, governance and delivery standards whilst working towards there outcomes. This also includes ensuring the capabilities required to enable regional technologies and services within the region and facilitated, planned, and executed in accordance with all key stakeholders in the region and are aligned to strategic plans.

The role will also oversee scaling of approved regional innovation initiatives by collaborating with the customer success managers, product engineers and managed services delivery squads.

Typically may include:
- Support the Customer Success Managers and Innovation Product Leads on building and maintaining change backlogs- Manage obstacles and blockers and use of continuous improvement techniques to remove bottlenecks in the delivery process- Work with managed services partner and other vendor delivery teams to scope, plan, design and deliver technology initiatives pertaining to the region- Facilitate PI Planning events for the region, help manage delivery risks and dependencies and track and escalate impediments- Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs) for the region- Work with Customer Success mangers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment- Ensure that the delivery teams are complying to PMI methodology, and Lendlease agile delivery methodology and tooling, where applicable.- Monitor and control solution delivery planning and execution including risks, issues, dependencies, schedule, and budget- Serve as point of escalation, review and approval for solution delivery issues and work with the Innovation Product Lead and/or designated managed services SDM in the region on action plans
- Ensure delivery squads are tracking to commitments as per roadmaps and timelines- Collaborate on regional PMO activities with delivery squads and other members including managed services delivery leads- Report on project delivery progress across regional project to the Technology Office and implement interventions / action plans to correct deficiencies- Work with the Customer Services Managers within the regions to understand the delivery priorities of the business and ensure prioritisation is performed accordingly- Act as the point of contact for technology change delivery activities within region

To be a success in this role it is desirable, but not essential to have;- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional work experience in one or more of the relevant fields (e.g., Construction, Business management, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.)- 3-5 years as an IT Project Delivery Lead, or IT Iteration Manager- Proven experience across end-to-end projects using PMI and Agile/Scrum project management methodologies- Ability to drive project delivery (full lifecycle management) across multiple teams and stakeholders- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation- Ability to collaborate effectively across various stakeholder groups- Knowledge of Agile and traditional program and project delivery methodologies and tools- Understanding of full lifecycle agile delivery and governance methods and standards. QA, engineering, DevOps processes and tools.
