Singapore Fashion Council (SFC)formally known as Textile and Fashion Federation (Taff) is the official association for the têxtile and fashion industry in Singapore. SFC plays an active role in supporting and developing the industry by positioning Singapore as an innovative fashion hub focus in three key areas: Technology & Innovation, Sustainability, and Asian Craftsmanship.

As a non-profit trade organization, SFC partners with the Singapore government and brings together leaders from multiple sectors to bolster the fashion industry both in Singapore and internationally. SFC champions programmes and initiatives which build capabilities, expand Singapore’s fashion and têxtile businesses internationally, and promote environmentally-friendly business practices.

SFC operates both The Cocoon Space (TCS), a creative co-working and event space that is housed on Level 2 and Rooftop of Design Orchard situated in the heart of Orchard Road as well as Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) located on the ground floor of the same building. DORS is a joint government project that provides a physical shop front at the renowned tourist belt for new and emerging locally-based designers to showcase their pieces.

SFC’s ecommerce platform, OneOrchard.Store, is a discovery platform and online marketplace featuring a diverse range of locally-based designers.

**Career Opportunity
SFC is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join its Retail Marketing Support Function in DORS, partnering with SFC Marketing Team to create an integrated destination that celebrates and sells local design profiles and brands.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The incumbent will:

- Work closely with Marketing Manager/General Manager to define, design and implement a creative VM strategy for monthly refresh cycles
- Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays with the aim of increasing footfall
- Work closely with Designer to produce collaterals for special promotional campaigns
- Ensure and uphold brand integrity
- Work closely with brands to understand individual VM requirements, and create a seamless design language in store
- Analyse merchant reports and make visual recommendations based on data analysis
- Any other tasks as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.

**Prerequisites**:

- The right incumbent should possess at least 2 - 4 years’ experience in a similar capacity.

**Other prerequisites and preferred attributes**:

- Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser
- Passionate about visual merchandising, in the know of current design trends
- Possess creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Autocad
- Able to identify metrics to measure effectiveness of VM, and run analysis to provide feedback with brands in showcase
- Able to work independently and in team
- Able to work well with tight deadlines and able to work well in a fast pace environment
