This position reports directly to the Chief Executive/Energy Market Authority. The Director/Human Resource and Organisational Development works closely with EMA Senior Management as a strategic business partner to oversee the development and implementation of human resources and organizational development strategies and policies to attract, develop and build a competent and high engaged EMA workforce. In addition, he/she provides leadership to the HROD team anchored on EMA’s vision and mission.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic direction in the review of HROD policies and processes, while taking into account potential implementation issues
- Champion the shaping, transformation & sustaining of EMA’s culture in the design and execution of HROD policies with organisational objectives and business needs, including the engendering of a tech-focused and pro-digitalisation culture in EMA.
- Ensure effective day-to-day operations of the full spectrum of HR in areas including recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits.
- Partner with management to plan and manage manpower resourcing as well as provide strategic staffing and recruitment solutions.
- Lead and set direction for EMA’s learning and development strategies in preparation for a future-ready EMA
**Requirements**:
- Background in HROD generalist experience across all areas of HROD as set above.
- 15 years of relevant working experience in the HROD field, with at least 10 years of experience in leading a team.
- Strong communicator, able to effectively engage multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
- Able to work in high pressure situation and consistently deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration and appointment will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
All new appointments will be offered on contract basis.
