FPOV is a global, award-winning design studio creating meaning experiences through light, sound and media. We’re represented by 9 studios in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Our team is a dynamic mix of designers from architecture, interior design, furniture design, theatre design, landscape design and industrial design.

We are growing our team again and looking for an Senior Designer to join our Singapore Studio who is creative, passionate, pro-active and an excellent communicator.

**Lighting Designer Role**:

- Development of lighting concepts, including rendering, sketching and mood imagery
- Creative communication and engagement with project design team and client
- Proof of concept calculations and modelling (where applicable)
- Collaboration with Singapore Studio and Global creative leadership team
- Production of drawings and support documentation as required (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Specification of lighting equipment and lighting control systems
- Onsite construction support and attendance at commissioning

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Design background and qualification (e.g., Architecture, Interior Design or Landscape Architecture, Theatre Lighting Design)
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in independent architectural lighting design
- Experience in running a wide range of projects from conception to completion.
- Adobe CS Photoshop, Indesign (After Effects/Premiere Pro a plus)
- Lighting modelling / calculation software (DIALux, AGI, Velux Visualizer, Lumion, Enscape, TwinMotion, ElumTools)
- Good knowledge and experience of Revit or other BIM software
- Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of lighting equipment and technology
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A passion to create and collaborate in an open-minded team
- Capable of managing a team of designers

We expect extensive knowledge of all relevant software packages, ideally including Revit, and we are looking for someone with creativity, enthusiasm, self-motivation and attention to detail.
