**Role Description**

We are looking for a Marketing Manager (APAC) to join a newly created team within our marketing organisation. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping develop a growth strategy in select markets. You will gain a deep understanding of the region and the markets within it, synthesise that information into actionable insights and work with our global marketing teams develop strategies to accelerate our international growth. The APAC Marketing manager will be based in our Singapore office and will be focused on the Asian market with an emphasis on Australia & NZ, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

**What you will do**:
**Market Analysis**
- Develop a deep understanding of the region, and the specific markets within it, including market dynamics, user behavior and competitors.
- Conduct regular deep dives and analysis of specific markets to help shape and develop marketing strategies that are locally relevant and highly optimised for what is most effective in that region/country.
- Work with our global marketing channel teams (paid, SEO, lifecycle, social, affiliate) to develop a solid understanding of the opportunities and blockers for specific marketing channels in that region/country.
- Conduct detailed analysis and deep dives into specific areas to identify opportunities to drive market growth. This may include analysis of specific channels, product performance, or competitor dynamics.
- Collaborate with our global business analysis team to develop a cadence of regular reporting and market-based analysis.

**Marketing Strategy Development**
- Synthesise information from multiple sources and interpret the data to identify strategic opportunities and specific actions that will drive user growth in individual markets, and across the region.
- Understand and anticipate potential headwinds or threats in the market and what impact they may have.
- We have a centralised approach to marketing with most of our teams based in the UK. You will work closely with our global teams to help define, and execute, integrated marketing strategies based on your deep local knowledge.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams including paid, social, search, PR, lifecycle and affiliate to help develop and roll out specific initiatives that drive growth in the region. Examples of these may include campaigns in specific markets or supporting product feature launches.
- Provide thought leadership and represent the region back into our global teams.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Evidence of developing or guiding marketing strategies that drive significant user growth.
- You will have a deep knowledge of the region and of the digital landscape with a solid understanding of consumer behaviors in the market/region.
- Highly analytical and data driven with experience in synthesising lots of information to develop actionable insights and strategies.
- Be knowledgeable about the strategies required to win in the region and/or markets, in terms of product, traffic acquisition, and marketing tactics for both web and app.
- Be self-sufficient for most data analysis including proficiency in a range of tools to help analyse a market such as Tableau and Google Analytics. It's even better if you have basic programming skills in the likes of SQL & Python to start taking this to the next level.
- Ability to work independently to solve complex problems, and understand when you should collaborate to progress your agenda.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with an ability to present a well-considered point of view that secures buy-in at the highest level.
- You are somebody who can look at complex situations, ask the right questions, analyse data and then use systems and frameworks to develop actionable insights.
- While this role sits within marketing you will understand the interrelationship between product, commercial and marketing, and help connect the dots when developing insights and recommendations to the business.
