**Department purpose / objectives**

Our client is a global bank looking for a Head of SEA - Financial intermediaries, Securities Services.

Responsibilities span product initiatives, P&L management, go-to-market, and strategy. Key target clients are banks, brokers and corporates for products like Securities Clearing, Custody, and Debt Solutions.

**Purpose & Scope of the position**:

- To articulate and execute a regional development plan across products
- To manage and coordinate local heads of Client Lines in the region for strategy and product development

**Global Responsibilities**:

- Analyse market, regulatory & client dynamics
- Articulate development plan to position the division in the region and ensure it is properly executed across locations
- Identify growth opportunities in the region and ensure strategies are aligned with Global plans while taking into account local market conditions.
- Identify needs for new solutions/ product capabilities for the international market

**Regional Responsibilities**:

- Lead definition of client prices in the region
- Define regional financial objectives in collaboration with Location managers and guide performance to objectives
- Promote new solutions/ products in the region in collaboration with Client Development
- Provide clients/prospects /market influencers with superior insight on value proposition and thought leadership through participation in client meetings, industry events and conferences

**Key internal stakeholders**:

- Regional Securities Services exco
- Global Client Line exco
- FI Client Development teams
- APAC territory senior stakeholders
- Strategic Business Development & Transformation teams

**Key external key stakeholders**:

- FI clients and prospects (such as IBs, Banks, Brokers, Corporates)
- Industry participants (such as consultants, law firms, fintech, market infrastructures)
- Vendors & partners

**Competencies required for the role**:

- Proven track record of relevant industry experience
- Solid demonstrable experience in the securities services industry in client facing roles
- Industry and product knowledge of the securities services industry
- Ability to work effectively as a part of global team
- Leadership and the ability to engage people, manage change and manage the strategic agenda for key initiatives
- Excellent Influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to define, lead and coordinate action plans
- Demonstrable experience of developing strong networks and long lasting business relationships
