PMO to Head of SEA Public Policy

ResponsibilitiesAbout the TeamThe Southeast Asia (SEA) Public Policy team's work spans across a broad and diverse range of functions and workstreams, including government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships. The mission of the SEA Public Policy team is to develop and advocate for solutions for pressing high technology issues, and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business.Responsibilities- Supporting the Head of SEA Public Policy in developing and implementing the team's long-term and short-term strategy based on emerging issues, market trends, and business needs.- Assisting the Chief of Staff in key PMO activities and processes, including team operations, reporting and business cadence, project planning, prioritisation, initiation, and execution.- Managing the day-to-day operations of the SEA Public Policy team, in close coordination with regional and local leaders to ensure smooth functioning of the team.- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on initiatives, and building key strategic relationships internally to remove roadblocks, fill gaps, and streamline projects.- Providing strategic input to the Head of SEA Public Policy on key areas of work, both internally and externally. Determine priority of matters, and redirect them to staff or handle them personally, as appropriate.- Aiding the Head of SEA Public Policy with preparing briefing materials, presentations, and other documents for high-level meetings and communications, both internally and externally.- Monitoring and analyzing relevant policy developments externally, as well as progress of internal projects, to create updates, briefs and insight notes.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- At least 5 years of experience in project management, business operations or business strategy roles.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to build relationships and work effectively within and across teams- Ability to prioritise and deliver multiple projects at the same timePreferred Qualifications- Global mindset and sensitivity towards diverse cultures and working styles- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating uncertainty- Prior experience in public policy, government relations, or a related field is a plus.About TikTokTikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video.
