About the Team
The Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team’s work spans across a broad and diverse range of functions and workstreams, including government affairs and government relations; policy and issue area expertise; risk and crisis management and mitigation; outreach, coalitions, and partnerships; and corporate social responsibility. The mission of the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team is to prevent, manage, and mitigate political, legislative, and regulatory threats to TikTok and to promote a political, legislative, and regulatory environment that supports growth and innovation for our business.

**Job Description**:

- Work directly with the VP of Public Policy and Global Head of CSR to support all aspects of their daily work
- Maintain the VP of Public Policy and Global Head of CSR’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements (domestic and international). Exercise discretion in committing time, anticipating and evaluating needs.
- Determine priority of matters of attention for the VP of Public Policy and Global Head of CSR; redirect matters to staff or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
- Assist the Chief of Staff in key PMO activities and processes, including team operations and cadence, project planning, prioritisation, initiation, and execution; foster collaboration between key stakeholders.
- Schedule departmental meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and play a key role coordinating staff efforts both within and outside the department, including aligning different groups and providing administrative support.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- Help with additional or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or executives as needed.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields
- At least 5 years of prior experience in supporting one or more senior executives
- Exceptional verbal, writing and proofreading skills in English.

- Proactive mindset to anticipate needs before they arise
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work across timezones given the travel schedule of the VP
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
