Area Sales Manager

Summary of this role:
The Area Sales Manager is expected to develop new and existing export customers to drive the growth of Pokka business in assigned International Markets
What you will be doing:
- Achieve sales revenue targets in assigned markets
- Establish new distributors in new markets and existing markets to increase product distribution coverage
- Implement launch of new products and line extensions to capture untapped category segments and consumption occasions
- Ensure A&P and sales deduction spending are in line with the approved budget
- Direct and motivate customers to achieve set targets
- Ensure timely submission of monthly reports, including but not limited to sales & inventory reports, 3 months rolling purchase forecast, and purchase orders
- Coordinate with Customers, Marketing, Research & Development, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product labels and recipes are compliant with the market regulations
- Direct customer execution of agreed sales & marketing initiatives
- Formulate annual business plans and budgets for key markets to drive future business growth
- Provide robust estimates for demand forecast to ensure continuous product supply and minimize losses from the destruction of aged stocks
- Coordinate with Shipping & Admin team on the order & delivery processes to ensure timely delivery of customer’s orders
- Provide updates to management on customer performance, market activities, market opportunities & challenges, and recommendations for improvement
- Regularly update Distributors' performance, present price proposals and Sales & Marketing plans to the Senior Management Team
What we are looking for:
- Minimum a Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years of Sales, Distributor Management, or Trade Marketing experience in the FMCG Industry
- Familiar with International Business
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, dealing with ambiguity
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Applications
