Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Head of Marketing is responsible for planning and executing a compelling and exciting marketing strategy. Central to this is balancing acquisition and brand awareness with driving retention and customer loyalty. We are looking for a strategic, data-led marketer who enjoys working autonomously and thrives in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Marketing Strategy**
- Develop and implement industry leading acquisition and retention
- Drive profitable revenue growth through higher conversion, frequency and AOV
- Manage the marketing budget to optimise for ROI & brand objectives
- Marketing Calendar
- Create & plan promotions and campaigns to delight new and existing customers
- Identify the right opportunities and execute brand building work at industry events
- Plan & coordinate the optimal timing of all new product launch campaigns, working closely with Merchandising and Supply Chain
**Customer Experience**
- Oversee content and creative produced for website, to deliver enhanced web UX
- Shape our loyalty programme and drive higher participation among customers
**Performance Marketing**
- Leverage agencies to deliver marketing objectives via using digital channels
- Track and improve marketing KPIs: ROAS, CPA, Conversion %, CPC
- Work with Marketplace & Affiliate partners to oversee and analyse performance of marketing
**Customer Analytics & Insights**
- Undertake analytics (Shopify, GA) to gain key insights on product purchases and customer behaviour to help support decision making on acquisition and targeting
- Identify high priority customers, develop customer profiles and missions build targeted strategies to recruit, retain and grow their annual value
- Leverage network, partners and analysis to build insights suite for market, competitive and consumer trends
**Brand & Content**
- Build Sasha’s Fine Foods brand across channels - incl. PR & influencer engagement
- Provide creative direction for content development across all channels and asset types
**Leadership**
- Lead and develop the expanding marketing team
- As part of leadership team, inspire the business to drive innovation and commercial success
- Embody the mission and vision of the business in all internal & external conversations
- Help to develop and deliver an empowered, exciting culture across the business
**Key Performance Indicators**
- Sessions & Conversion
- Frequency & Average Order Value
- Acquisition & CAC
- Retention & CAR
- NPS (Net Promoter Score)
**Key Requirements**
- At least 5 years of Marketing experience in a consumer facing e-Commerce business
- Excellent understanding of Digital Marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience across earned, owned and paid channels (esp. social, search, display, EDM)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in asset development and creative content writing
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking - incl. Google Analytics
- Team Management experience
- Proficiency in Shopify a bonus
- Experience in tech/online/start-up workplace an experience
**Remuneration**: Competitive, depending on experience
