As a Professional Officer, you play a key role in enabling applied learning and industry innovation in the University. You will mentor and facilitate student learning to enhance their practical skills and increase their preparedness for industry practice. You will have the opportunity to participate in and manage innovation projects or research activities in collaboration with academic staff and industry partners. You will help design, set up and manage laboratories to ensure that resources are in place to facilitate learning and innovation.

As a Professional Officer, you play a key role in enabling applied learning and industry innovation in the University. You will have the opportunity to participate in and manage innovation projects or research activities in collaboration with academic staff and industry partners. You will help design, set up and manage laboratories to ensure that resources are in place to facilitate learning and innovation.

**The responsibilities of this role are**:

- Develop and deliver data analytics & digital transformation related courses in business to undergraduate students and adult learner in various program and industry. Classroom teaching and facilitation of discussions, supervision of group projects and design of assessment tasks.
- Collaborate with faculty and corporate divisions on data analytics technology related projects and mentor students in the development of such projects
- Provide consultations to undergraduate students and staff on data analytics and access feasibility of potential data analytics project ideas
- Provide support in ad-hoc activities (i.e promote awareness of data literacy etc.)
- Manage other ad-hoc duties within the division (i.e. involvement in Applied Learning and Applied Research activities and etc. )
- Cross Deployment to support other Programmes in a secondary cluster may be required
- Assist in procurement of software or databases subscriptions when necessary.
- Have at least 10 years work experience in data analytics or related area in business projects. Experience in digital transformation and driving digital changes in organization such as automation, process optimizations and data modelling are highly desirable.
- Desirable skills: R and Python programming, machine learning techniques, basic statistical methods, data visualization, keen interest in teaching & mentoring.
- Passionate about technology and possesses the visionary to drive digital change
- Able to travel to different campus locations for deployment.
- Have a recognized degree in Business or IT related discipline
