**We are looking for a Sustainability Manager for EUDR Compliance to join our Global Sustainability team and to be based in Singapore.**

**Neste’s Sustainability team is a corporate level function with sustainability professionals based in Singapore, Espoo, Shanghai, Melbourne and Houston. The team is responsible for managing sustainability related strategic initiatives and implementing sustainability into our business.**

**As Sustainability Manager, your main role is to drive** EUDR compliance and enhance Neste Due Diligence Systems to that effect, as well as to drive supplier performance improvements, training and compliance with EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) needs to the effect that EUDR compliant supplier volumes are maximized for Neste.**

**Main responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- **Deep-dive into EUDR and decipher its context suitable for supplier compliance**
- **Driving EUDR compliance and enhancing Neste Due Diligence Systems**
- **Driving supplier performance improvements, training and compliance with EUDR needs**
- **Maximizing EUDR compliant supplier volumes availability for Neste**
- **Partnership with Earthqualizer in assessments of Neste’s Tier 2 & 3 suppliers**
- **Drive sustainability pilots and initiatives in the region promoting regulatory**
**requirements, e.g. EUDR, CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive)**
- **Continuous engagement with other lower tier suppliers**
- **Any other tasks as required**

**Keys to success in this challenging role**
- **Ideally: Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Science / Environmental Economics / Natural Resource Management /Supply Chain Management.**
- **Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in palm oil industry, preferably in supply chain sustainability and/or auditing.**
- **Experience in assessing and auditing suppliers sustainability performance and experience in working on supplier traceability**
- **Deep interest in Circular Economy and innovation. Not shy at expressing ideas and have a strong willingness to improve processes.**
- **Self-driven team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills**
- **Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills**
- **Other APAC language skills are highly regarded**
- **This role includes regional and intercontinental travel**
