We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our APAC Client Activation team. This role is located in Singapore - Hybrid work model.
The APAC Client Activation (GCA) team, part of our Enterprise Operations Utilities group, is responsible for opening and amending accounts and markets for all our across South Asia and Australia. We liaise with Clients, Investment Managers, Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Contracts, KYC and many other internal stakeholders as part of the onboarding and trade lifecycle. We play a critical role in our clients’ experience through our daily interactions and ensuring our client’s activities are taken care of accurately and timely in respect of their account and market setups.
You will be working in our team of Account & Market Activation Specialists in Singapore with an assigned client base. You will oversee and coordinate your clients account and market activation activities, assist in day-to-day queries in relation to the products, services, and global markets we offer to our clients, and adhere to service level agreements in a highly regulated environment. You will also be involved in key strategic initiatives, change management, process reviews and other regulatory changes
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Take responsibility for a client base and serve as a liaison between clients, relationship managers, and various operational areas of the firm.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Client Activation when working with clients to execute account and market-related activities, such as asset conversions, mergers and acquisitions, name or address changes, and new fund launches.
- Maintain awareness of global projects that may impact the group, participate as appropriate, and incorporate relevant information into business coordination and change management efforts.
- Interpret client instructions and assist in completing required documentation to ensure static data is accurately established on all proprietary systems.
- Conduct regular reviews of outstanding items to ensure activities are completed in line with service level agreements.
- Establish and maintain professional client relationships to support departmental and business objectives.
- Develop an understanding of each client's structure and requirements to ensure services are delivered in accordance with their account and market setups.

- Fluent in spoken and written English, with outstanding communication skills.
- Proficient in utilizing artificial intelligence and data-driven tools to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support informed decision-making.
- Keen interest in learning AI tools offered by BNY and ensuring that the team is benefitting from it.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial products relevant to client activation.
- Proven experience managing multiple, high-volume client onboarding tasks efficiently.
