[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Accountancy in the School of Business & Accountancy.

**[What you will be working on]**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Lecturer, you will prepare and update teaching materials and conduct lectures, tutorials and workshops. You will set, and mark assessments related to the module(s) assigned and keep records of student attendance and grades. You will also support student learning and development through student consultations and mentoring. In addition, you will be required to take on committee portfolios and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.

**[What we are looking for]**

You should be a team player with strong presentation and communication skills and is able to teach in both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) courses. Having access to industry partners/networks will be an advantage as you may be required to spearhead new development initiatives and industry collaborations.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting **, **analytics, robotic process automation (RPA), cloud accounting and/or sustainability accounting
- Competent in planning, developing and teaching
- A nurturing mindset with a passion for working with both youth and adult learners in both the full-time diploma and part-time programmes
- Accounting or accounting-related modules
- Manage collaborative initiatives with industry partners
- Manage and support multiple projects independently and as in a team setting

Additional pre-requisite that is advantageous:

- Prior teaching experience
