**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**I. Design**
- To develop planning and design solutions, working with the Project Directors, Project Managers and teams in all project phases, from concept to development, coordinating production and presentations.
- To prepare planning and design frameworks, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, working drawings, detailing, specifications, and guidelines.
- To attend, document,and report project meetings with external clients and project teams.
- To integrate and coordinate solutions with other project teams and disciplines.
- To develop 3D modelling studies in Sketch Up or other formats that accurately and clearly depict the project intents.
- To direct and coordinate the assembly of documentation into a presentation format / project report, utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Power Point and/or other digital formats.

**II. Production**
- To ensure quality and efficiency on all assigned projects, tasks and deliverables.
- To actively work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
- To perform revisions, markups and pickups of delegated work and complete deliverable packages.
- To verify that applicable normative and codes are satisfactorily addressed.
- To coordinate and produce the necessary documentation in all project stages.
- To maintain a weekly task list for assigned projects discussing time allotments, schedules, and task delegations.
- To assist the Project Director and / or PRoject Manager on monitoring and documenting a project.
- To prepare regular project team meetings pertaining to project tasks, deliverables, and milestones.

**III. Management**
- To accept responsibility and accountability.
- To hold the team and individuals accountable to deliver upon commitment.
- To follow through on the project goals, overcoming challenges and obstacles.
- To manage production resources effectively, communicating any deviation to the Design Director and Design Leads.
- To coordinate project with client, stakeholders and other team members in various offices
- To produce initial and revised scope and fee proposals.
- To demonstrate highly organized and systematic approach to project development and production, keeping team and tasks list updated and complete.
- To demonstrate a high degree of time management skill, streamlining processes and procedures to increase quality and efficiency.
- To regularly review sets project deliverables for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance;
- To report regularly to the Project Director and / or Project Manager.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architectural, Urban or Landscape Design, with a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience anda relevant track record on project completion.
- Critical and strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal, written and visual, with ability to engage both clients, stakeholders and other entities at all levels and disciplinary areas.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, networking and team management skills.
- Background in diversified range of projects, good design sense and dedication to excellence.
- Comprehensive understanding of planning and design concepts and methodology, such as land use strategies, road network design, standard calculations, massing analysis, urban design et al.
- Familiar with multi scalar approach, from neighbourhood level to township master planning, especially in Southeast Asia and Asia.
- Highly adaptable and creative; comfortable with uncertainty and change.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
- Visual knowledge and software skills in 3D modelling and rendering.
