**Senior Associate/Associate, Office of Research**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop close rapport with the funding agencies locally and internationally;
- Work closely with management and faculty to operationalise and implement the University’s research strategy, grant operations and plans;
- Manage databases and track faculty research achievements;
- Work closely with the relevant stakeholders, funding agencies, partners to advance SUTD’s research agenda;
- Administer the university’s research processes and ensure that they are in compliance with the university’s overall goals and policies as well as funding agencies’ research guidelines and policies;
- Prepare relevant reports and presentations for submission to funding agencies and management; and
- Provide secretariat support to the University’s Academic and Research Committee and the University Research Board, and meetings organised by the Office of Research as required.

**Requirements**:

- Have received a Bachelor’s degree preferably in a scientific/technical discipline;
- Have relevant experience in grant and/or project management;
- Possess knowledge and understanding of Singapore’s R&D and funding landscape (e.g. NRF grants);
- Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills;
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment;
- Be able to take ownership of, and autonomously carry forward, key aspects of work related to the position; and
- Be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic working environment and within tight deadlines.
