Job Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
2. Identify, evaluate and select suppliers and vendors based on their capabilities, pricing, quality and reliability, and establish and maintain strong relationships with them.
3. Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing and terms with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
4. Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate timely procurement.
5. Cost Management : assist in driving cost savings initiatives, exploring cost reduction opportunities, conducting cost analysis and identifying strategies to optimize procurement spend.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and procurement policies and procedures, and maintain proper documentation and records for audits and reporting.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, operations, and project teams, to understand procurement requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
8. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
