Regulatory Compliance Section Lead

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Oil & Gas E&P Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team. The Regulatory Compliance Group Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our projects comply with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.
The Regulatory Compliance Group Manager is a senior-level position that will report to the Quality Department. The role requires a combination of management and technical expertise, as well as strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks and projects is also important.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a team of about 3-5 Regulatory Compliance Experts, and 3-5 Regulatory Compliance Managers assigned to projects.
- Development and maintenance or standards, procedures, associated systems, processes, work instructions and human resources.
- Promote Our Regulatory Compliance Vision to internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a corporate and project organizational culture that supports compliance with policies and regulations.
- Outreach and interaction with Regulatory Bodies. Represent the organization in meetings with regulatory agencies and in regulatory inspections
- Evaluate Lessons Learned and incorporate into the management system.
- Provide training and education on regulatory compliance
- Stay up to date on relevant regulations and laws, and communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of the organization that may be vulnerable to non-compliance
- Work with relevant departments to ensure that their activities are compliant with regulations
- Monitor and report on the organization's compliance status
- Conduct investigations into potential compliance incidents and take corrective action as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, engineering). Advanced Degree is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance in the oil and gas exploration and production industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations
- Ability to analyze complex regulations and laws, and to develop clear and effective compliance policies and procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability and desire to lead and manage a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
