**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Network Support Engineer** to provide **operations support and maintenance** for secure network infrastructure. You will manage incidents, perform troubleshooting, and ensure network systems operate efficiently while complying with security standards and organizational policies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide daily operations support for network infrastructure and connectivity.
- Manage and track incidents through to resolution while maintaining adherence to **service level agreements (SLAs)**.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
- Conduct **fault analysis**, perform configuration updates, and optimize network performance.
- Maintain and update **documentation, configuration records, and operational best practices**.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal **security policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines**.

**Requirements**:

- **2-3 years** of experience in networking or infrastructure support.
- Working knowledge of **RESTful API principles**, **HTTP methods**, **JSON handling**, and **regular expressions**.
- Strong ability to **diagnose and resolve network issues** independently.
- Hands-on experience with **Linux (Red Hat)**, **Windows Server**, and **VMware** environments.
- Familiarity with **firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, NTP**, and **TCP/IP networking** preferred.
- Prior experience in **defence or government environments** requiring security clearance is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
