**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Lead, manage and develop the Ocean Freight Team - Chemicals.
- Ensure smoothy operations and good customer services.
- Follow up and processing of shipment with shipment status and revert to agents/clients.
- Do all necessary documentation for all shipments and plan for collection and delivery of shipments with contractors in order to meet shipping line and/or co-loaders closing time.
- With relevant experience in handling CHEMICALS customers to handle DG cargo, preparation of PM4, validation of MSDS, etc.
- Attend to all messages pertaining to operation matters.
- Responsible to close all job files promptly to meet month end closing.
- Maintain good relations with all customers and ensure good customer services.
- Ensure profitability for businesses secured with regular review with management.
- Source oceanfreight quotation from liners and vendors and strong background - with DG cargo acceptance, Isotanks & Bitutainer.
- Understanding of LCL consolidation for DG cargo for both inbound & outbound cargo.
- Support pricing team to develop businesses.
- Any other official duties assign by Management.

**Qualifications**
- Min 5 years’ experience overseeing a team to run a ocean freight import and export operation for key account clients.
- Extensive background in freight forwarding industry (agent environment).
- Strong experience in shipping, booking and full import and export documentation functions.
- Strong leadership skill.
- Possess good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of carriers and contractors.
- Strong vendor management with local transporter.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Self-motivated.
- Customer oriented
- High endurance
- Well versed with tradenet
- Able to work under pressure
