Compliance Manager

**Purpose**

The Compliance Manager is responsible for effective implementation and on-going management and support of all regulatory bodies and compliances including, but not limited to, EduTrust Certification Scheme, Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), Council for Private Education (CPE), COBIS, WASC etc.

**Responsibilities**
- Correlate information required to ensure all criteria and sub-criteria for submission to each regulatory body is met in order to gain and maintain required registration and licensing.
- Produce quality assurance policies and procedures to create ongoing framework for management and compliance for EduTrust, ERF, CPE, COBIS, WASC auditing, certification and licensing matters.
- Ensure up to date compliance in all matters relating to all regulatory bodies including their service platforms.
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards to achieve compliance as well as to provide advice to the Senior Management and Directors where applicable.
- Work in conjunction with Management and staff members and provide guidance to achieve requirements and on-going maintenance of required criteria.
- Evaluate adequacy and report on quality assurance standards of policies and procedures and information collected.
- Carry out and document internal audits and other quality assurance activities to meet requirements of all regulatory bodies.
- Collect and compile statistical quality data relevant to the organization and regulatory bodies.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality of policies and procedures in the collection of required data.
- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external regulatory bodies.
- Evaluate audit findings, communicate and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor risk management activities.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining document management systems.
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management preferred.
- Quality assurance experience minimum 2 years required.
- Experience in the full process of preparation, submission and auditing procedures pertaining to EduTrust, and CPE an advantage.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases.
- Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA.
- Knowledge of relevant and current regulatory requirements pertaining to EduTrust and CPE is beneficial.
