- IFF is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Scent Business as
- **Account Manager**, for one our top global customers based in Asia.
- **Your Focus**
Responsible for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, establishing solid customer relationships, leading, coordinating and reporting IFF activities and promoting relevant solutions aligned with the corporate strategy. Foster commitment to excellence and passion for success.
- **How you will contribute**
- Ensure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reported.
- Establish and sustain customer relationship through strong engagement plan to address requests, provide solutions and answer requirements in selected Asia markets for the beauty care category.
- Lead and coordinate among the cross-functional teams to execute the account strategy and activate initiatives based on the agreed timings.
- Foster & lead knowledge building of the internal team while facilitating the exchange of learnings with regional and global teams. Extract insights that build new and/or strengthen current account action plans & business growth opportunities.
- Partner with Operations team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply chain.
**Job Requirements**:
**What you will need to be successful**
**Experience**:
- Approximately 8-10 years of experience in sales, business development, sales service, product development, or marketing preferably fragrance, cosmetics, FMCG, flavors, chemical or ingredients industries.
- Proven track record at a similar level with a passion to succeed in a commercial role.
- Customer-centric with B2B management experience
**Skills**:
- Analytical with the ability to deal with financial concepts/processes (pricing/margin/forecasting)
- Strong interest in product development, consumers, and market understanding including digital marketing or e-commerce
- Ability to gather and leverage competitive market intelligence
- Fragrance knowledge, chemistry background is preferred not but mandatory.
- Creative, agile, proactive, collaborative and has an innovation mindset
- Effective project management and leadership
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills
- Effective business English with a global mindset and ability to work with different cultures
- Digital savvy with an ability to leverage online resources
**Essential**:
- Bachelor’s degree
