National Key Account Manager

To contribute to Singapore portfolio growth through the strategic development of Singapore National Key Accounts, limiting reductions and/or terminations, and ensuring the maintenance and development of existing customers.
- Ensure relationships are maintained, managed, and developed across all existing and potential customers.
- Ongoing relationship management of accounts ensuring increased sales, analysis of sales activity, and trading optimization is achieved.
- Monitor competitor activity, report back to the Sales Director, and suggest and assist with the construction of counter measure strategies.
- Establish strategic account clients and develop penetration methods and review the progress at monthly meetings.
- Achieve quarterly and yearly Company sales margins and goals.
- Develop proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements with accountability for delivering strong financial results.
- In conjunction with relevant Functional Heads, complete and submit tenders for National Key Accounts.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and their specialty area of practice.
- Ensure regular, timely, and constructive communication with National key accounts is maintained, both by phone and in person.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting that focus on all relevant aspects of National Accounts:
- Sales analysis and termination reporting
- Monthly and business development reports
- Customer profile and activity report
- Regional KA Review Report
- Monthly/Quarterly Reporting to Customers, as per agreed service levels and/or Key Performance Indicators.
- Lead, manage, coach, and enhance the competency of the National Key Accounts team, enabling them to meet and exceed their targets and meet the needs of the business.
- Deliver effective performance management of staff through clearly defined job descriptions, regular performance monitoring, and annual objective setting.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the tools and training to achieve their objectives/targets.
**Requirements**:
- Degree/ Diploma
- Demonstrated B2B experience in achieving sales, profitability and budget goals with Key Accounts preferred with Service Industry experience
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external working relationships
- Experience in managing a small team
