**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure optimal product mix of TDs, Current Accounts, CNDA, Structured deposits, ESG deposits and identify products to mitigate any gaps.
- Develop TB’s deposit pricing and rate management strategy, improved deposit quality, better forecasting accuracy, enhanced controls, and stronger collaboration between Markets, Coverage and TB.
- Develop infrastructure and processes to ensure the team operates independently from sales and coverage to prevent conflicts of interest in competing priorities between client growth and deposit value; in particular, develop, implement and enforce pricing approval authority.
- Accountable for rate forecasting from historical pricing, stronger Asset/Liability management.
- Accountable for portfolio rate optimization.
- Provide guidance in relation to market events (example rate increases)
- Introduce a pricing governance framework: Implement a robust deposit pricing governance framework, associated RACI and playbook. The framework will streamline the pricing approval process to within acceptable tolerances, with a clear escalation process for pricing that is above and beyond this level. Responsibility & accountability for these activities (ie price setting tolerances) will also be included in this framework.
- Lead the design, implementation, analysis, and renewal of key performance indicators and deposit analytics.
- Weighted average pricing on a portfolio basis.
- Comprehensive deposit drivers and forecasts to provide senior managers with data-based business intelligence and insight.
- Performance of liquidity products against internal and market benchmarks.
- Coordinate deposit and liquidity information gathering for use as management information in key committees and forums, including with senior management.
- Act as a key liaison point regarding deposit portfolio performance and coordinate the alignment of Treasury and Finance stakeholders in APAC.
- Identify and indicate leading and lagging key performance indicators such as deposit rates, weighted average interest rates, net interest margins, and funds transfer price.
- Track and measure performance of rate decisions, including flow of funds and balance rotation.
- Identify and provide narratives for underperforming metrics.
- Participate in corporate and business unit strategic planning activities.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both externally and within MUFG
- Work in partnership with various departments in the Bank to support delivering seamless transactions to the customer.
- Responsible for objective setting and performance management, establishing KPIs and year-end performance appraisals for direct reports.
- Act as a role model to team and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
- Support, coach and guide team on complex technical issues.

**Job Requirements**:

- 10 years of liquidity experience.
- 6 years of leadership experience
- 5 years of transaction banking exposure.
- Degree holder
- Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Deep treasury, pricing, and data analytics experience
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mind-set
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and sell ideas
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
