**Position Overview**:
As **Listed Equities Liquidity Lead**, you will be responsible for building and managing Flowdesk’s strategy and operations for listed equities liquidity provision. Working closely with trading, quant, and business development teams, your role will be to design and execute on trading strategies, manage exchange relationships, and ensure strong liquidity and market presence across selected venues. You will bring a deep understanding of equity market structure and leverage your experience to position Flowdesk as a leading liquidity provider in listed equities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the build-out of Flowdesk’s **listed equities market-making**activity across global exchanges.
- Design and implement **liquidity strategies**aligned with market dynamics and business goals.
- Work with quants and engineers to optimize pricing models, inventory management, and execution algorithms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with **equity exchanges**, brokers, and liquidity partners.
- Monitor trading performance and market quality; continuously fine-tune strategies based on real-time data and analytics.
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting client-facing teams in **institutional partnerships and listings**.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**

**Must-haves**:

- 7+ years of experience in **equities trading**, ideally with a focus on market making or systematic liquidity provision.
- Deep understanding of **equity market microstructure**(lit markets, dark pools, auction mechanisms, tick sizes, etc.).
- Proven track record of designing and deploying high-performance trading strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset and experience working with quantitative and technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across both technical and commercial stakeholders.

**Nice-to-haves**:

- Exposure to **crypto or digital asset markets**, even at a conceptual level.
- Experience trading across **multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, US)**and managing cross-venue strategies.
- Knowledge of programming and scripting languages used in trading (Python, R, SQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with regulatory environments (MiFID II, SEC rules, etc.).
