**Mars Equity **is a Singapore-Based technology fund, created to provide growth capital for fast-growing startups and tech companies in the Asia-Pacific and EMEA region. The fund will invest in middle-later stage startups and manage $500+ million. Mars Equity is a joint venture between Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group’s core banking subsidiary MUFG Bank, LIQUiDITY Group, and US-based venture capital, Spark Capital. The fund has a clear mission - to deliver the best solution for tech companies' toughest financial challenges. As **Fund Manager, **your responsibilities will include: - Source deals and initiate contact with start-ups in Asia-Pacific and EMEA region - Manage the deal process from start to finish, including sourcing new prospects, running introduction meetings, conducting in-depth financial/technical/strategic analysis, and presenting the prospects to the investment team, etc. - Assist with overall deal-flow management - Creation of rules corresponding to financial-related law in Asia-Pacific and EMEA region especially Japan and Singapore - Thorough understanding of management and financial practices and phases of business operation - Conduct research on markets, technology use cases, and industry trends - Communicate and integrate day-to-day with the core team to complete key priorities - Develop financial and operational models relating to live fundraising scenarios - Build solid relationships with founders while working through the investment process and provide mentorship and assistance when required - Monitor financial/operational progress of assigned portfolio companies, and assist with quarterly reviews with the management team - Contribute to idea generation for the growth & scaling of portfolio businesses - Create presentation materials for prospects and portfolio companies - Support with marketing and investor relations - Perform ad-hoc tasks, as required by the team, and contribute with ideas & actions across the wider business **Fund Manager Skills and Qualifications**: - Reporting Skills - Speaking / Writing Skills - Microsoft Office Skills - Managing Processes - Organization - Analyzing Information - Problem-Solving - Strong Communication Skills **You have**: - ** More than 8 years of relevant working experience in the industry**: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - Strong contacts and networks in the ecosystem or the banking industry - Extensive experience in financial modeling & structuring - Excellent relationship & stakeholder management skills, demonstrable ability to gain trust - Professional communication skills - Strong analytical, strategic, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills - Good Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat - Strong desire to grow or continue your career **You are**: - An independent, passionate, and driven individual
