The Business Solutions Consultant will develop a specialty knowledge and expertise around one or more of the Amplify core propositions to design high value solutions for clients. Your role will have two major focus areas:
You will work with agile teams of experts from with several areas of Amplify (i.e., technical and business) to formulate opportunities and prepare the relevant output for the client, including
- Value uplift opportunities
- Implementation roadmaps
- Budget and timing estimations

The Business Solutions Consultant is required to actively support the client engagement process, including understanding the gaps or requirements from the client, and formulating opportunities for Amplify to provide services and products, through clear documentation and communication to the client.

This role requires managing SMEs, ensuring all analyses are clearly understandable and at the right level to be received by clients and ensuring any concepts are translated into tangible business recommendations which will lead to long-term client engagement.

There is strong development potential in this role within Amplify.

You will report to the Health Strategy Consultant.

**_How you would make a difference _**
- Synthesize and clearly communicate : Clearly understand client priorities and value levers. Gather and analyse information. Formulate and communicate recommendations for client presentations. Work closely with business development and advisory teams to gather user requirements and translate them into the client implementation plan.
- Cross-functional team collaboration : Work in small teams, alongside various SMEs, data science and health tech experts to develop client recommendations.
- Mix of technical and business skills: Combining technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design, healthcare expertise and domain knowledge, and business background or acumen to deliver clear analyses and recommendations to clients
- Product deployment advisory : Clearly communicating requirements and feedback to the team and providing detailed guidance on the clients’ operational technology and data analytics infrastructure to inform the product deployment, ensuring alignment to client priorities

**_What you need to be successful _**
- Work experience:

- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, wellness, business, economics, econometrics, computer science)
- Required: 5-10 years of relevant professional experience
- Required: deep exposure to Discovery business and products - preferably from one of the health businesses
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience working in consulting or client engagement roles, relevant experience with top-tier consulting firms
- Preferred: 2+ years of related experience in one of the following areas:

- Data and analytics transformation (current state assessment, blueprint and strategy development)
- Enterprise architecture strategy and performance assessment (for strategic and operational planning)
- Health insurance or health risk management experience - including operations, network, medical cost management etc.
- Product development and / or technical marketing
- Wellness experience
- Education:

- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Skills/Knowledge:

- Strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate technical and business concepts to communicate with stakeholders
