**About the team**
In Enterprise, we meet the needs of our business and government customers by delivering disruptive products, platforms, and services with our unique Telstra IP, leveraging our targeted value propositions and world-class customer relationship capabilities.
As a Business Planning Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the business leaders and their organisations with comprehensive and professional business planning and reporting, with the objective to drive optimal business performance and results.
You will be playing a pivotal role in coordinating all activities in annual operating planning, prioritise setting for the international business as well as designing and implementing all management cadence. You will work effectively across cross functional teams to drive key initiatives and regional inputs to improve the business performance of the organisation.
As a Business Planning Specialist, you support the business leaders to formulate the business planning and strategy, as well as enable the operational performance of their business. Your passion to see things work smoothly on all levels, will see you coordinating the delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects to completion.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the team leader to drive business planning including partnering with the leadership team and other functions to shape the international growth strategy, setting & tracking of key business outcomes and performance indicators
- Deliver management presentation reporting with compelling data analytics supporting and visionary insights
- Enable the design and implementation of annual and quarterly planning sessions, monthly business reviews and other crucial cadences to enable customer, financial and operations KPIs
- Drive compliance with operational KPI’s and performance metrics to ensure
practices and deliverables are aligned with Telstra’s strategic objectives
- Manage the development of tracking and reporting frameworks aligned to the overall Telstra reporting strategy and methodology.
- Collaborate multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment on key planning for top priorities and initiatives, and monitor the progress of all critical milestones
- Support innovation and continuous improvement by monitoring and analysing and reporting on key performance dashboards to provide actionable insights and recommendations to guide operational effectiveness and efficiency
**To be successful you’ll have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
- 3 years’ experience in Business Operations, Finance and Strategy
- Any Project Management certificate is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders involved and be able to present insights and findings to senior leadership team
- Ability to articulate insights and proposes recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives
- Ability to understand business priority, analyse data to evaluate business performance and be able to challenge status quos
