**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with business user in business requirements to align with business and project objectives, and bridge the gaps between business users and technical/development team.
- Involve in planning using Agile methodology
- Coordinate and work with various Business stakeholders to build up business case, justify cost benefit analysis as per-cursor to necessary approvals to support projects involving IT and users.
- Work with business users to capture requirements as user stories into product backlog
- Prepare documentation of business requirement/processes/workflows and review with business users
- Build narratives and acceptance criteria for the highest priority user stories in upcoming sprints via product backlog grooming
- Work closely with Business users and development team (Vendor)
- Provide continuous feedback to the development team/vendor for improvement
- To write and get acceptance upon collaboration with business users on all Test Plan
- Responsible for Functional Testing of systems before release to UAT for User Testing. Support User Acceptance Test, automated and manual testing. Validate acceptance tests, and work with key users to monitor and ensure UAT closure and signoff.
- Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines on several initiatives simultaneously.
- Managing users for BAU / adhoc / urgent change requests
**COMPETENCIES**
- Diploma / Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent
- Min 5 years of experience in the role of Business analyst in insurance domain
- Strong business analytical skills with demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business requirements related to insurance products, customer portal, process and workflows
- Possesses excellent facilitating skill in managing workshops and focus groups with strong business/vendor engagement skills
- Capability to provide insights or recommendation for the area of business process improvement
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proactive and self-initiate, with ability to manage and lead one or more streams of the project
