**Job Summary**:
The leader is responsible for overseeing and optimising the logistics operations across the Kumon and Oceania (“KAO”) regions. This role involves managing the supply chain, ensuring efficient stock control, optimising logistics routes, and enhancing system functionalities to support the company's logistics and supply chain management. He/She will work closely with various divisions to ensure seamless operations and contribute to the overall efficiency and profitability of the organisation.

Additionally, this person holds the position of a Deputy General Manager (“DGM”) of our subsidiaries Kumon Support Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd (“KSAP”) and PT KSAP Indonesia (“PT KSAP”), overseeing the day-to-day operations of the logistics function and supporting company management such as Accounting and Human Resource in each entity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stock Optimisation**:

- Optimise stock amounts in country and centre warehouses to ensure stable supply and prevent overstock issues.
- Study and implement better stock control methods based on stock quantity, logistics lead-time, and order quantity.
- Create and issue guidelines for stock control and implement new methods as necessary.
- **Supply Chain Review**:

- Review supply chains for CI (Chargeable Items) and NCI (Non-chargeable Items) materials in terms of quality, pricing, freight cost, lead-time, stock quantity, and profitability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and revise procurement schemes as necessary.
- Create and implement guidelines for quality control methods.
- **Logistics Route Optimisation**:

- Optimise logistics routes for worksheets, CI, and NCI by reviewing and analysing logistics, stock control, and supply chain situations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and implement new logistics routes as necessary.
- **Project Management**:

- Lead projects of new products, ensuring better design, usability, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage system enhancements for Logistics & Web Ordering Inventory System (“WOIS”) in collaboration with the ICT team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, or related field with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to interface with Japan head office and regional country counterparts in Japanese. Having Japanese Language Proficiency Level of JLPT N1 or its equivalent is essential.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the education or publishing industry.
- Knowledge of similar Logistics system.
- Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
