The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), founded in 1926, is the world-governing body of the sport of table tennis with 226 member Associations in the world. The ITTF supervises the staging of World Championships annually, and several other world title events. Around 120 international tournaments are sanctioned by the ITTF yearly. Its main function is to govern and develop the sport for the benefit of over thirty million competitive players in all parts of the world.
Table Tennis is an Olympic and Paralympic sport and is in the programme of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as of all Multisport Games.
The ITTF is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant who has good business acumen and will be responsible for the spectrum of operational tasks and projects under the ITTF Finance department.
**LOCATION**:The position will be based in the ITTF Asia-Pacific offices in Singapore.
**MANAGER**: The ITTF Senior Accountant will report to the ITTF Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
**DUTIES**:
- To manage financial matters, particularly regarding, reporting requirements, consolidation procedures, and internal controls system;
- Have a key role in ITTF’s professional services to support the ITTF Strategic Plan, by working towards achieving its objectives;
- Oversight of the day-to-day financial operations of the various ITTF entities;
- Develop and implement Internal Control Systems to meet International Financial Reporting Standards, across the various ITTF entities;
- Manager the consolidation process for reporting purposes;
- Preparation of Quarterly Reports;
- Oversee the audit function of the various ITTF entities;
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting projects of various ITTF entities;
- Ensure effective risk management techniques are implemented, and offer proactive advice on possible financial issues;
- Ensure oversight of intercompany transactions;
- To undertake all other tasks, as may reasonably be delegated, by the CFO
**SELECTION CRITERIA**:
- Degree in Accountancy;
- Minimum 5 (five) years of relevant accounting / audit experience;
- Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Experience with managing staff would be advantageous
- Experience with Xero accounting software would be advantageous;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel;
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills;
- Analytical, meticulous with a keen eye for numbers.

- Ability to work independently and with different teams
