Deputy Director, HR Transformation

A*STAR Human Resource (HR) Division's vision is to develop all staff to their fullest potential and to help them make meaningful contributions to the organisation and to Singapore. A*STAR HR aspires to provide valued HR services to attract, develop, motivate and retain the best talent to help A*STAR achieve its mission.
The HR Division comprises of the Recruitment, Planning & Policy, Analytics & Transformation, HR Operations, Talent Management and HR Partners departments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide directions to the team to analyse and resolve complex systems and analytical challenges.
- Lead the strategic direction of the HR transformations and analytics function in alignment with A*STAR's vision and goals.
- Constantly review existing systems and processes and suggest improvements and ideas to increase efficiency and performance reducing costs of HR service delivery through improved processes and technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technology while aligning to A*STAR's technology directions.
- Drive the implementation of the transformation agenda by partnering with the various HR functions and Corporate Group functions.
- Responsible for working together within A*STAR teams to deliver an impactful and integrated ERP System to cater for our business needs.
- Advocate for a truly digitalised journey and bring onboard everyone along for it.
- Drive the analytical journey of the team from descriptive analytics to prescriptive analytics.
- Develop analytical solutions to provide data insights to management for data-driven decisions.
- Manage and optimise team operational performance, results, and efficiencies.
**Requirements**:
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in transformation, analytics and change initiatives.
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to prioritise and work around tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong personal initiative and resourcefulness.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people across all levels.
