SIT Alemira is EdTech company based in Switzerland and Singapore. SIT Alemira builds a digital education ecosystem, an integrated platform for learning, education and science management for higher education institutions and business organizations. We aim to intelligently simply, automate and optimize all learning, education, and research processes. SIT Alemira is part of Schaffhausen Institute of Technology, a Non-Profit university located in Schaffhausen Switzerland.

We are currently looking for a **Senior Software Product Manager **on a full-time basis, distance working, someone versatile and enthusiastic to take on new problems as we continue to push technology forward with 3-6 years of working experience

**Summary**

A senior software product manager is responsible for maintaining an existing and developing a new portfolio of the next generation of educational products and services. In addition, you will devise and manage the development of strategies and activities to establish and enhance product placement, pricing, roadmap, expansion plan according to market needs and steer towards achieving revenue targets.

We are looking for a talented and motivated professional who will be part of a high-skilled team that is working on educational, science and research software solutions. The team in general is responsible for providing requirements for EdTech products, managing strategy, roadmap and priorities, as well as finding technical solutions with the engineering team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Define product features, write clear detailed requirements, and unify them across projects and teams
- Find solutions with engineering teams
- Develop a deep understanding of new customers’ needs as well as wants, collecting and analyzing their requirements and product feedback, make data-driven decisions about the direction to grow
- Analyze product metrics to define a better approach in delivering products with superior quality and with highly desired features set
- Profiling of competitors in an assessment analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, review competitor’s products
- Work with modern and cutting edge technologies, including high scale software as a service with public cloud orchestration including storage and virtualization
- Establish and implement effective requirements creation and management practices
- Implement ways to unify and reuse requirements across projects
- Facilitate communication throughout the development process inside the company, collaborate with designers, engineers, support, marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the best product on the market
- Establish pricing and licensing model for products
**Key requirements and competencies**
- 3-6 years of experience in software development projects as a program or product manager
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Product/UX Design or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- Understanding of a software engineering concept
- Experience in collecting requirements from customers
- Experience in working with project management and requirements preparation tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Redmine, Aha, ProductBoard, etc)
- Technical understanding at least in one of the following areas: Learning Management System, Platform as a Service, Virtual IT infrastructure, Programming Language Development Environment, University Management System, Cloud orchestration
- Experience in Agile software development process
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding andor experience in SaaS andor PaaS products is a plus
