NTUitive is looking for an Assistant Director to join the technology transfer team.

**Responsibilities**:
- Commercializing technologies generated at NTU, which involves:
- Analysis of technology and market opportunities.-
- Developing and implementing strategies for marketing said technologies.-
- Analyzing the technology and understanding its value considerate of market requirements.-
- Identifying suitable commercial entities in Singapore and abroad that may be interested in the technology.-
- Negotiating technology commercialization terms, in particular commercialization through licensing, including drafting of commercial agreements.-
- Liaise with NTU researchers to understand ongoing research, to identify technologies with commercial potential and to assist researchers with partnerships and income generating activities.

**Requirements**:
- Scientific / technology background with BSc, MSc or PhD in Biomedical Sciences/ Life Sciences; or experience in related fields. An MBA is optional.- Strong business acumen with 5-10 years business experience in technology-oriented companies, in particular in Business Development and Marketing roles.- Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills.- Effective oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.- Strategic and flexible thinking, proactive tendencies, with capacity of decision making under conditions of uncertainty.- Multi-tasking abilities are a must.- Experience in licensing with the ability to work in a team and /or independently to negotiate license agreements, term sheets, letters of intent and options.- Experience in the evaluation, marketing and managing of intellectual property and scientific inventions.- Ability to interpret and manage complex agreements.
