The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. - Ensure Automated Sorting Machine’s (ASM) reliability during operating hours.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting of ASM on site.
- Work with machine vendor to draft out preventive maintenance task lists (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly) in order to maximise the ASM operation life.
- Read and Interpret maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to perform required maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting.
- Work with machine vendors to perform emergency maintenance on machine and avoid unplanned downtime
- Develop Training Materials for ASM operations and centreline to ensure machine reliability.
**Requirements**:
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
- Min 2-3 years of relevant working experience in electronic maintenance and repair work on belt, conveyor and pulley systems.
- Required to work on rotating shift to support 24/7 operations
- Willing to learn and ensure the machine is always ready for usage.
- Able to troubleshoot machine problems and document them down for learning.
- Willing to learn, take equipment ownership and be involved in ensuring machine reliability.
- Solve equipment / system problem(s) through recognized methodologies like root cause analysis.
