**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job title: Ramp Specialist

Reporting to: Duty Manager (Ramp)

Grade: GE 4

**Overall Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Duty Manager (Ramp), you are responsible to supervise flight handling and manage ramp operations to ensure smooth aircraft handling.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate and safe handling at Aircraft Site/ NMEs, PLB and Headset Functionality
- Operates ADGS and obtains on chocks from relevant person(s)
- Engage/disengage PLB according to the aircraft type to aid passenger embarkation & disembarkation
- Connect/disconnect towable skyloader/ towable PAX step according to SOP
- Perform Foreign Object Debris Sweep (FOD) to ensure there is no obstruction to PLB path
- Ensure that Headset/PLB function is carried out in accordance to CAG requirement
- Perform Marshalling duties in the event PLB malfunctions
- Ensure close adherence to Ramp Loading Instruction with regards to flight handling
- Report any accident involving the equipment in the course of duty
- May be required to perform as Rover or Deployment Specialist
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required by Reporting officer

- Able to articulate instructions clearly

- Displays positive attitude towards work
- Good people management skills
- Possess Class 3 or equivalent driving license will be an added advantage
