Sales Enablement at OTA Insight is about helping our Business Development (BD) and Account Management teams succeed. We do this by providing high-quality training combined with performance data aligned to sales priorities and measures.
We are looking for someone who can help us execute our new hire training sessions and ongoing skills and product training for both our new business sales teams and account management teams across the globe. Your main objective as a Training Specialist is to conduct and administer high quality training that produces Reps who are ready to sell. This is an integral position within the Sales Enablement team that will focus on delivering high quality and high value training to accelerate sales performance and productivity in a significant and measurable way. Direct success is tied to how quickly newly hired reps ramp up and the productivity of the entire BD team, measured by monthly quota attainment targets. Moreover, you’ll act as a trusted partner to the BD team at all levels through development, mentorship, and coaching. The Training Specialist is also the key conduit for rolling out new features, products and processes to the sales and account management teams.
**Role and Responsibilities**
**Planning and Execution**
As a Training Specialist, you will contribute to the content and format of the training and execute the day to day training plan developed by the Sales Enablement program Manager, Sales Enablement Go To Market Manager and Sales Leadership. You will deliver interactive and relevant training sessions that lay the foundation for success. You will be responsible for following activities:
- Deliver training sessions that span a variety of topics and systems
- Collaborate with Training Manager on scheduling, managing and measuring monthly new hire training sessions
- Provide ongoing support to new hires to ensure development of all the core knowledge needed to be successful
- Drive and deliver refresher trainings, product feature update trainings, best practises and ongoing support to sales reps
- Support with translation of training materials
- Be responsible for ensuring that all content is current and relevant to the course period
- Work closely with Training Manager to ensure that our LMS system is up to date with relevant and impactful training sessions
- Gather feedback from new hires and tenured reps on topics and skills that require improvement through additional training
- Support the yearly sales kick-off as necessary
**Training and Development**
As a Training Specialist you will conduct sales training focused on strategies, methodologies, and policies. This will be done to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the sales organization. You will be responsible for following activities:
- Coordinating regional training schedule and communicating attendance and participation expectations
- Help new hires through other departmental onboarding processes (HR, IT, etc)
- Support training program that ensures an optimal onboarding experience. This includes content library, agenda and collateral.
- Being capable of delivering new hire training in conjunction with regional Specialists and key employees.
- Keeping an ongoing “inventory” of current skills, processes, knowledge.
- Leading virtual and face-to-face sales training initiatives.
**Communication**:
- Work alongside the Training Manager to incorporate product info and marketing assets into the training curriculum.
- Ensuring that sales assets are available, easy to find, regularly updated & managed.
- Passionate about sales, account management especially in terms of the development and coaching of others
- Prior sales or training experience is required
- Proactive in your approach and aren’t afraid of seeking input from the internal stakeholders when needed.
- Extraordinarily organized and detail oriented
- High energy and be able to be a ‘culture carrier’, this role will be part of an important first impression for our new hires

- Be able to facilitate multi faceted training program
- Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration
- 2 to 4 years experience in the technology vertical, with B2B SaaS in a fast paced environment.
